About
Muhammad Zulkarnain Hamzah is a transportation planner with a master's degree in Urban Planning from McGill University. Since 2010, he has worn several hats, including advocacy, research, consultancy, and public sector projects. His expertise has been instrumental in assisting major global city-regions such as Kuala Lumpur, Montreal, Riyadh, and Toronto in tackling challenges related to urban transportation sustainability.
Currently, he is working with Metrolinx, the provincial agency responsible for regional transit coordination in the Greater Golden Horseshoe.
He also has several years of experience in researching issues related to Islamic governance (siyasah shariyyah) for Pertubuhan IKRAM Malaysia, a grassroot-based non-governmental organization in Malaysia championing for good governance and integrity.
